The Bush Temple of Music evolved from a piano showroom into a mixed-use residential and commercial property. During the recent renovation, it became evident that the ornate brick and terra cotta facade was badly in need of repairs. Building Blocks oversaw the rehabilitation and restoration of the historic French Renaissance Revival facade. We produced nearly 500 new glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) units to replace heavily terra cotta pieces. Aged storefront columns that had been modified decades earlier were restored to their original brilliance. Now, the Bush Temple of Music is home to boutique apartments and local stores.
